Filter Condensate Draining Options

Tapped/Threaded – Water drains straight out of an 1/8″ port – can be piped away.

Semi-automatic – Empties at night, or whenever the system is turned on or off. Also has a manual override.

Automatic – Automatically drains when full.

Depressurisation – Empties whenever there is a change in system pressure. Works as effectively as an automatic drain without the same cost.

Camozzi Filters and Coalescing Filters

Series MX

The Series MX filters are recommended for the removal of larger particles in an air supply system to lengthen the life of pneumatic equipment. They are to be used in conjunction with a Series MX coalescent filter that removes finer particles, namely oil and moisture, from the air.

They are available with G1/4″, G3/8″ or G1/2″ ports. The bowls of these filters are made of metal with a transparent sight glass and have a condensate drain valve which can have either a semi-automatic or automatic drain function.

On request it is possible to order filters with filtering elements which can vary from the standard.

Construction: Compact modular with filtering element in HDPE

Materials: Zama, NBR, technopolymer

Ports: G1/4″, G3/8″, G1/2″

Mounting: Vertical in-line or wall-mounting

Operating temperature: 0°C to 50°C at 10 bar

Porosity of filtering element: 25 μm (standard), 5 μm (upon request)

Porosity of coalescent filter: 0.01μm

Draining of condensate: Semi-automatic (standard), automatic

Series N

The Series N filters are available with G1/8 and G1/4 gas ports. The bowl, which is transparent, makes monitoring of the condensate levels very easy and is equipped with manual and semiautomatic drain.

Used to remove oil and moisture particles from the air supply to lengthen the life of pneumatic equipment. A coalescent filter requires that another filter is used first to remove larger particles.

Construction: HDPE filtering element

Materials: Brass, grillamid, NBR

Port: G1/8″, G1/4″

Mounting: Vertical in-line

Operating temperature: 0°C to 50°C at 10 bar

Porosity of filtering element: 25μm (standard), 5μm (upon request), 0.01μm (coalescent)

Draining of condensate: Semi-automatic (standard), automatic, depressurisation
